A Long Time

It has been a very long time since I wrote and boy has a lot of things happened since I did last write. Lets see where to begin...

Oh yes the vacation - I had a wonderful time not to mention Matt and I did something that I thought we would never do but you can't pass up this experience. After 15 1/2 years being together October 30th, Matt and I eloped in Savannah, Georgia in a cemetery. That's right in a cemetery, omg we got married in a cemetery, it was so awesome. The cemetery is a historical cemetery and believe it or not a lot of weddings actually happen there. The name of the cemetery is called Bonaventure and it was a beautiful and breathtaking place, loved the big trees with moss dangling down from them. I will show pictures in the next couple of posts.

Still on the vacation part - the ocean was just amazing still can't believe we got to go swimming in October. Other than that we just enjoyed staying on Tybee Island and looked at all the shops we didn't get to do all the Halloween things we planed but it was still an amazing trip.

Other than that I finally got my licence back after so many years (4 1/2 to be exact) absence in my wallet and no it is not what you think ;) See what happened my licence expired the same year we moved down here in Ohio from Michigan. When it expired I had got really sick like a semi truck hit me then backed itself on top of me then a heard of elephants ran over me. Yes that bad! and by the time I got over the whole sickness 6 months has passed and because it expired and I was from out of state I had to take a road test and the written test again in my life. Which I basically said forget it Matt drives most of the time anyways why do I need it.

Well Matt's uncle passed last year and we needed to go back to Michigan and neither of us had valid licence since his expired 6 months prior as well I decided I will get mine back. Which I should of just waited till we got back to Michigan like Matt did since they didn't care when they expired and I wouldn't have to do all the tests. But stupid me did it in Ohio and they took my Michigan licence so I had no choice. Anyways we needed extra drivers for the trip and I set a date for my driving test (I passed the written when Matt's uncle passed so all that was left was the driving portion and I had a full year to do that in) Anyways the day had come and my nerves got the best of me I passed the driving test but the maneuver test not so much needless to say I didn't get them that time. So I set another time after we came back from Georgia on the 3rd again the damn nerves got me and failed the maneuver test (which all I had to do since I passed the driving portion)

However on the 3rd time I finally did it!!!! I told myself I can do this you done it before and don't be like spongebob lol. My nerves get really bad to the point I sike myself out so bad that I actually get physically ill. In other words don't let your license expire take it from me don't be 33 years old and doing a test that 16-18 year old are doing its a little embarrassing =P

Well that is all for now rest assure I am creating new art once again after so many weeks and I will show them off very soon =D

Going on Vacation

First time I have said that in a long time. The last time I went on vacation was back in 2002 going to Alabama for 4 days with Matt's mom. Today Matt and I along with my mom and step-father and brother and sister-in-law are heading to Savannah, Georgia for Halloween.

We will be gone today (Saturday October 24th) and be home late on October 31st. I am so looking forward to seeing all the Halloween festivities but so not looking towards the 12 hr drive there and back. We will be leaving around 5:30 am =/

I will also be missing my fur kids so much this is actually the first time I am leaving these guys =/ for this long. thank you so much Amanda and Eric for looking out for them and the house =D

I will be posting lots of photos on instagram, facebook and twitter so come join me =D and I am sure I will have tons of paintings and comics inspired by this trip.

Smokey

This post is all about my oldest girl cat that I found 13 years ago in a field next to our house. It was a a nice warm afternoon in October Its funny my mom said Kris what is that out in the field it looks like a small squirrel. I went out there to see and it turned out to be a kitten of 4 weeks old that was abandon. I went and did the kissing sound to get its attention and she came running right to me. I picked her up and she kissed me and the rest is history, I knew I had to keep her.That night we had Kentucky fried chicken and she seriously stole 2 pieces of chicken off my plate and ate it.

It's funny how you can remember something so specific like that, it makes you want to laugh just the way she acted like that that day.

And now I feel so numb and lost it hurt so bad but the numbing feeling won't numb the pain. I found my baby dead under our bed a couple of hours ago. There was no sign she was sick or in pain or anything. She was fine yesterday and now my precious baby is gone =( Rest In Peace my baby girl I love you and miss you so much. You left a paw print on my heart and it will be there forever.

Creepie Ellie

I can't believe I haven't written in over a month so sorry about that, but I do have a great excuse I was really busy getting Creepie Ellie for her launch date.

Which brings me to this, finally after 5 months of preparation Creepie Ellie comic is now live. That is right no more waiting. You can check it out at tapastic by clicking that banner.

I haven't got the site up yet but that will happen next week since it is going to be a week behind tapastic but at least if you don't like tapastic or want more info on Ellie etc you can go to the main site when it is up.

Revenge

I finally got that image I drew and showed off last time I wrote and I am calling her Revenge. S\he wants to get revenge on the person that broke her heart, I am assuming, or she just likes to play with voodoo dolls.

I actually did this image for a collaboration with Mystical Scraps the company I am signed with for my images to be tubes. The theme was called Heart of Darkness so what is my favorite symbol of revenge voodoo dolls =D Thanks to my wonderful Matty for giving me the idea =D

I also have been working on Creepie Ellie, of course =D We are down to the wire now and still lots to do. but I am confident that it will all come together in the end. Only 27 more days till the launch date!!!!

I did an image to put up on my Tapastic page which the comic will make its debut there on the 2nd of October and the following week that image will be up on the site so Tapastic will always be ahead 1 week than the website.

Small Update

Its been a few days now since I last wrote so I thought I would show you what I am working on, other than Creepie Ellie of course. I can't show that just yet, can you believe there is only 38 days left YIKES!!!! So much to do still on that, I did do a muck up of the layout omg that's a relief in a half off my mind now. It looks great and I already have 3 fully done and 2 drawn so at least I have some to show =D

Enough of Ellie now on to a work in progress shot of my next creepie cuties. I am not sure what the name of her is yet so right now I am just calling her Voodoo Queen. This Cutie is looking for revenge and voodoo is her game =D

I should be done with her in the next day or so, right now I am working on the outline and which I'm almost done with.

Halloween Store

Today was the day I've been looking forward to since November of last year, when the best Halloween store would open.

Everyone that knows me knows that I am majorly obsessed of Halloween (and I have no clue why or how and when it started) but I can't get enough of it. Ok maybe I do know when it started, it started the year that I started creating my Creepie Cuties or at least that is what I remember anyways

Anyways I have been stalking Spirit Halloween since I saw the sign go up in our city a month or so ago and been patiently or more like foaming at the mouth till the day came when they opened. Let me tell you it was the biggest disappoint I have ever had with Spirit store. When I walked out I wanted to cry because I needed my Halloween fix.

The stuff they had was the cheapest made and look I have ever seen and with such a high price. The dollar store usually carries this type of stuff, top of all that since it was a small store it was more costumes then anything else. Which is fine since that is how they make most of their money but come on the decorations for the price they want should be a better quality.

So we had to go to a tech store to pick me up a cord for my tablet I swear I go through those like people would go through underwear. This is the 3rd time I had to replace my cord in the past year.

Well we also stopped by Hobby Lobby's just to see if they got their Halloween stuff in (when we went the last time they only had fall and of course Christmas stuff out) They normally put the Halloween stuff out closer to the middle/end of August.

Lets just say I was really impressed and I got my Halloween fix. This year was actually great stuff its not scary/creepy stuff but it is more kooky and whimsical that I like and started incorporating into my girls think more Haunting, Star Catching and Moon Fairy.

Ok I talked enough lets see what else is new... not much is new other than sending in my images to the imaging tube company that I signed with the other day. They did had a couple more new images so go check them out. There is 8 total images all my old ones but goodies are on there more to come soon.

Image Tubes

This post might not be interest of some but for others it might, I have some great news!!! I just signed a contract for my images to become tubes.

This post is specifically for those of you folks who are online image/graphics hobbyists - makers of tubes, signature tags, websets, members of the groups for PSP and other image/graphics groups. If you don't know what that means or what the heck I'm talking about, lol, - just ignore the rest of this entry, hehe.

I have a "No-no"/'Hands Off!" policy when it comes to my images the only way I allow people to use my images for fun (no profit) is through companies that specialize in these areas. So the other day I signed on with Mystical Scraps for you guys to use. Please follow the rules and have fun. These are licensed images.

Mystical Scraps is a fabulous company that creates tubes from artists' works they have officially licensed, and they create packs/single images of tubed art for purchase for online tag hobbyists. The tubes may be bought for a small, onetime fee, and downloaded directly from their site. Once purchased, you have lifetime permission so long as you follow their terms and don't use the art for profit. This is the ONLY usage I allow of my artwork for tubes, tags, and other alterations. Creepie Cuties on Mystical Scraps

It Begins...

I can't believe it, the count down begins, Creepie Ellie starts exactly 50 days from today October 2nd. The time is sure flying by and I have tons to do still, and in such short amount of time to do it all in.

I have to still create the comics, can you believe I haven't even started this one yet. I finally have at least 3 narrowed down and going to start working on those tonight after dinner. I have to come up with a layout for the website and work on that and work on more comics. There is other stuff to do but I am forgetting what is all need to be done at the moment =/

Just thought I would stop by and say I'm still here just really, really busy. I also have to do a Creepie Cutie image for this week but I think Ellie has to come first so I won't get behind =D

Moon Fairy!

Oh boy this new digital painting of my Moon Fairy is so cute and of course has a touch of creepieness to it (yes I know that is not how you spell creepiness, but in my world it does) See I can do that since it's my world =D

Like I said in the last post, my old Moon Fairy is still my most popular image to date, and I wanted to upgrade it to see how far I have come. Here is a side by side comparison the old Moon Fairy was done in July of 2010 and of course the new Moon Fairy was just done this week/today. (Yes I know they are not the same image but it is the same concept)

It just goes to show you if you have a dream keep at it ;)

I know some of you guys that read this blog are from storybird, I just want to let you know I tried uploading it but it seems they are having difficulties. I wrote them to find out how to resolve this issue but it also seems they are going to go down for a couple of hours tonight. Either way as soon as I can find out what is wrong I will upload it for you guys =D

Back Problems

I did it again! I hurt my back Sunday morning doing yard work. I knew doing chores will eventually kill you hehehe. But it does look and feel like I am on the mends so that is good. Still going to take it easy for a couple more days though.

Before I injured my back I did manage to get started on a new digital painting and I am finishing her up now, but I wanted to show you a work in progress shot of her before I do finish her. All that is left is the background.

One of my most popular paintings I have done so far is called Moon Fairy so I thought since I am a much better artist now why not revisit it.

The Awakening

I have a new digital painting today, it is the same girl that I showed a progress shot of last week. I turned her into a zombie. In my opinion, she looks fierce I love her =D

This is actually my first zombie I have created since 2012 that is so weird but it is also because I am terrified of zombies. I kid you not, a person that loves to draw creepy things is afraid of something lol.

I actually was never afraid of them till the movie from 2004 came out Dawn of the Dead. It was mainly because of the little girl that freaked me out so bad that now I am so scared of them that I can't watch anything with them in it... Till The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead I watch just because I am trying to unscare myself. However I still run from the room when it gets to bad. One or two maybe a handful of zombies are ok but when you get a horde nope, I'm out lol

Enough rambling here she is...

The Awakening

I have a new wip (work in progress) shot for you guys today. I'm not exactly sure where this painting is going yet, could be a girl just walking, a zombie or a fairy who knows. Either way I love how I am finally getting movement into my paintings. I use to make it where the girls are so stiff but I am trying my hardest to do more action pack paintings. I still have a lot to learn but getting there =D I always think though no matter how could you get you can always learn new stuff. So there is always improvements to be made.

Nothing new to report on my end, just been working on well everything and yet still feel like I have nothing to show lol. I will get there sooner or later =D

Getting There!!!

My list is finally getting shorter and then I can finally get to more painting in digital and acrylic =D

Lets see... I have narrowed down some comics for Ellie, right now I have 23 chosen and I need 52 for a full years worth. Once I have narrowed it down to 52 then I can begin drawing, outline and color it. It's a long and tedious process but i'm getting there =D I also might just start working on the 23 and later go back to narrowing down, we'll see.

I have also finalized my Creepie Cuties website so it is ready to go, really this time it is =D I even changed some of the images to my favorite girls like Voodoo Girl #1, Haunting and Star Catching. They are promptly front and center on the site =D So all i'm waiting on now is Matty to get the free time from his work (he codes for a living on other peoples sites) to do mine but it shouldn't be to long now.

What else is new, oh yes I have also drawn 11 aceo images to start practicing acrylics again. I'm very excited about this and these girls are of course voodoo girls and some are of voodoo/monster creatures. They are so awesome looking =D

ACEOs are the size of a baseball card 2.5 x 3.5 and are very sought after from fans of the artist. They are either original art or prints and usually are the cheapest way to get originals from your favorite artist. Once I start getting better I will release these as original done in acrylics and the price I am thinking will be $10.00 - $12.00 not at all bad for an original =D

Summer Weather!

I swear this has to be the most rainiest summer I can remember, blah! Now remind you I love thunder storms specially during the day, I love when the storm is just rolling in and haven't rained yet and you can see the darkness coming in that is the best part. However last night was so bad that the thunder actually rolled down our car window and the passenger seat got soaked.

Today has been a blah day, I got so sick to my stomach this morning I actually slept all day minus eating a little lunch then went right back to bed. I'm up now and has tons of work to do.

I need to add my last image Voodoo Girl #1 to all the products I have so far on zazzle. Need to work on Creepie Ellie to get that going (to draw it and paint ect.) I have to choose comic panels I have over 200 comic ideas and need to narrow it down to only 52 for the first year. Then I also want to work on creating more voodoo girls for acrylics not to mention more Creepie Cuties for digital. Also I have to work on the secret project that Matt and I are working on.  Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

Oh and also to finalize my site for Creepie Cuties since Matt is almost ready to code it and get it up live. Talking about more website stuff, I also need to come up with an idea for Creepie Ellie and finalize it since it is only a couple months away now =D Only 79 Days Left! Eeep!! To much to do!

But first must eat dinner then off to work, not sure what to do first but I will manage. I love my job =D I love staying busy, specially with it being my own creations. I love to create my own little whimsical/creepy world =D

Voodoo Girl #1

She is done and I am totally in love with here, I had so much fun making her that this is going to be a series of digital and acrylic paintings basically never ending. =D

Now of course the tiredness is really starting to hit me, I can barely keep my eyes open while I type this. So I think i'm gonna go take a short nap and then when I get up I will be working on some stuff for Creepie Ellie.

New Character!!!

Another sleepless night grrrr! So instead I started creating and madly have fallen in love with this new character I drew.

Lately I have been playing around of getting back into painting with acrylics but since i'm so rusty (last time I painted in acrylics was back in February/March 2010) I wanted to start a little easier. Instead of jumping right in with my girls because of how difficult they will be because of all the colors, I created a new character along with her companions She has a whole story behind her but for now you guys will just have to settle with the wip shot of her.

This of course is a digital painting of her and it is called Voodoo Girl

I am so in love with her. I thought since I started my art career with voodoo dolls I might as well begin again with acrylics and she is perfect =D

Can't Sleep

Meh! I can't fall asleep I tried laying down since 12:30 this morning and finally decided to just get up and work, not to mention I have a huge headache which I think it is time to get a new pillow.

Yesterday Matt and I went out to eat and then we went and seen Inside Out in the theaters, omg that is such a cute movie =D Once again Pixar and Disney made me cry and in public lol (thank goodness it was dark)

A couple of days ago I finished a new image of Ellie which I will be posting everywhere today. I needed a new image for twitter for the comic, which by the way you guys can follow that as well here (twitter.com/creepieellie) 

Right now I am working on a new mermaid piece which I don't have a name for it yet but of course Shark Week helped me out on this piece though hehehe. This piece features Australian Ghost Sharks that I have never heard of till this week and they are the cutest things ever. I think these guys are in my list of favorite sharks.

I have no clue what I'm going to be doing in the background yet hence the reason why I put a skull there and seaweed. I will eventually come up with something.

Shark Week!!!

Best week of the year (other than Halloween) I love shark week and usually I just plant myself in front of the tv for the whole week and draw. However I can't this year with the new webcomic and a secret project I am doing with the love of my live Matt really don't have the time =(. I will though record most of the shows so I can watch them later at night.

Lets see what else is new... Oh yes, yesterday was the 4th of July and guess what I did I hurt the same ankle I hurt back in December smh, I swear I am destined to break it in my life time. Thank gooodness I haven't broken any bones in my 33 years of existence on this planet specially with playing so many sports and a semi accident prone/klutz. Thankfully it is better today so no worries but I am sure it will bite me in my butt down the road =/

Last night instead of watching the fireworks Matt and I decided to watch a movie. We watched Home omg that is such a cute movie. Yes I cried and laughed so if you haven't seen it I recommend you guys do =D

I have to upload some digi/coloring images up on my Etsy shop then, it is time to make dinner and maybe watch some shark week hopefully =D

Yes I have been doing art since November 2008 but I think 2012 is the year that I started to really get better at it and taking my art more seriously then just a side project.

I am finally getting my art out to the public, very happy about that. Now I think to reward myself I am going to go practice acrylic painting =D and of course work on my sites that so need to get up as soon as possible.

Star Catching!

I am done with my new digital painting that I showed you guys earlier this morning and I am so happy with her, may I say she is such a creepie cutie =D

Star Catching - A little goth girl loves to catch stars and I am pretty sure she lets them go or the sky would be dark. Who knows in this world these creepie cuties do love the dark =D

I am starving so I think it is time to eat =D We are having tacos well I am having a taco salad (nacho doritos, mild sauce, taco meet and cheese) and I think Matty is having nacho hard tacos. Shoot that even sounds good. Now my stomach is aching for food didn't realise I was this hungry =P

Really!!!

Monday June 29th (there is a reason why I am putting a date on this just keep reading) Matt and I went to Hobby Lobby to get some acrylic paints so I can work on trying to re teach myself on how to paint. I will say this I hate Hobby Lobby but unfortunately my favorite craft store Michael's is an hour away from were we live =( and this Joann's that is near us they are right next to Hobby Lobby only has fabric and little stuff here and there =/

Anyways you will not believe what they (Hobby Lobby) had up, they had freaking Christmas and Fall stuff up. It wasn't even July yet and they had that stuff up and of course they don't put up the Halloween stuff till August I swear no one gives Halloween a chance (my favorite holiday and I only get to see it for less then 2 months ='( )

I will say this though seeing that stuff is making me really want to paint some Halloween/Fall stuff so bad. I might actually do that after these next paintings that I have already in the works.

Which reminds me this is the reason why I am writing in the first place but that little rant on no one gives Halloween a chance =( sort of just snicked up on me lol. I have a work in progress on my next digital painting

I am calling this painting Star Catching she is such a cutie but of course has that creepiness feeling to her. Her dress even has little skulls all over it. I should have her done some time today hopefully =D

Meet Ellie

It's official I have a new web comic in the works called Creepie Ellie I even bought the domain www.creepieellie.com (that is why I say it is official =D ) Right now it is just a coming soon sign but more to come soon.

I would love for you guys to meet Ellie she is the star of the new webcomic (she was inspired by my latest digital painting Haunting)

Been Awhile!

Comics!!!

I never realized how much I miss making comics. It has been almost a year (August 2014) since I last touched my web comic Little Bit Creepie.

And now that I am creating a new character for this new comic idea it feels great to be back =D

I never thought of seeing myself being a comic artist it just happened sort of happened actually. I was creating these voodoo doll like creatures called strangelings in digital and acrylic paintings and I wanted to do more with them and bring them out into the world in other ways. Well my boyfriend Matt suggested why not create a comic with them and the rest is history.

I started creating the characters and story lines back in August of 2010 and started releasing pages in May of 2011. Through out the years it felt like I was writing the same story over and over but with different scenes and in the back of my mind I kept thinking this story line can be better and that is when I finally said enough and put my web comic on hiatus till I can create a better comic for myself and for the fans of the comic.

So that brings me back to my new comic idea it started playing in my mind about a week ago and hasn't left so here I am now creating the main character. More details will come when I am close to showing it off.

Since I've Been Gone!!!

It has been awhile since I last wrote and the bad thing is, it wasn't do to my art. Matter of fact I haven't even barely touched my art since the last time I wrote =(

Lets see what have I been up to... well unfortunately I caught another cold so that was 2 colds in a month and a half and this one really put me down I couldn't stop coughing long enough to get any rest and no medication worked. I honestly thought I broke some ribs coughing so much.

The few times I did get to work I worked on my site and I can say it is now officially done just waiting for it to be coded and uploaded =D Hopefully it will be up sometime this week if not next week.

Of course now that I am so much better I can get back to work =D and that means a lot of projects along with lots of art work.

The one thing I can officially say is that I am working on a new comic and boy it is going to be awesome.

And then there is another project that I can't say anything about yet but it is going to be big =D

Snowing

Three days into spring and it is freaking snowing out. This is a winter that never dies 

Lets see what's on today's agenda I am definitely going to finish the Lost Soul digital painting today and then I think I am actually going to paint with the acrylics. Then again finishing up my 2 websites should be in the high priority list so many things to do and so little time.

Sick

Since last Saturday I have been really sick to the point all I could do was sleep. I usually like to work when I'm sick but nope not this time, I am at least 75% better to the point I can start working on my paintings and projects again.

Whats on the plate right now is working on my digital painting that I started 2 weeks ago called Lost Soul. A cute little ghost girl lost in the spooky woods covered in fog.

After that who knows maybe finally will be able to open those paints that have been calling my name since I bought them 3 weeks ago =D

Winter Over?

It looks like winter is officially over (knock on wood) it is 50 and I have my studio window open with cats peering out I love it =D All this week is going to be in the 50s =D Hopefully it will stay like this.

For the past couple of days I have been busy not art related work but yet it is. I took the time out to set up a zazzle shop and added 3 products with all 26 images of Creepie Cuties I have done since late 2012 (even though I have been creating Creepie Cuties since July of 09) these later ones are so much better so I just added the ones I am very proud of. I have also come to a conclusion with my acrylic work, I am just going to feature my creatures I call strangelings I have a whole world I want to get out and not to mention they make me really happy to draw and paint (digitally and acrylic).

They are kooky, funny, creepy and cute all at the same time. I can't tell you what the name of this series is called not until I buy the domain anyways. The site will have tons of digital work and acrylic work along with prints that you can buy along with some other neat stuff =D

I honestly do think they will make an impact because of how they see the world and again they bring a laugh and a smile to your face. Here is some digital images of the strangelings so you can see what they look like.

Just think this is how my little world all started, from these little creatures I call strangelings.

Celtic Grave

I started this new painting called Celtic Grave (inspired by my grandma of course, she was Irish) so what better way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day (I know I'm early hehehe) Anyways I started this piece about a week ago and I am finally done with it. I have to say I am madly in love with this piece

Working

I am still here, I swear I didn't walk off the earth =D Been very hectic yet boring couple of days. I have been busy but yet haven't, I know that sounds weird but I don't know how else to explain it lol.

Lets see... What is on the agenda for the next couple of days! Working on the site, yes still working on it and hopefully will be ready sometime next week.

Tomorrow the 2 puppies and my 2 youngest cats are going in to get fixed so that means,  next 3 weeks are going to be a pain. Will have to keep an eye on them so they won't start chewing on their stitches.

Other than that working on the new comic it is based off of one of my creepie cuties called Gloom here she is but of course she is going to change some, adding a nose, having skin color and having human hands etc. But at least you can see sort of what she looks like.

I can't wait to tell her story it is going to be awesome =D

Also on the agenda for this weekend I am finally going to start working on acrylic stuff, I'm really excited about that.

That's about it and I am hoping to show some stuff soon on the comic and with the acrylics =D

Paint Supplies!

It's a cold and snowy Sunday here =) I love snow I don't know if it's because i'm a winter baby or what but snow does not bother me like some people in this house hehehe. I'm sure though if we had the storms the other side of the east coast is getting then yes I would be sick of it but right now it is only 3 - 5 inches I can handle that =D  The only thing I hate is actually shoveling but now that we have a motorized shovel it isn't that bad.

Lets see what else is new... oh yes yesterday evening I finally hit the craft store (Hobby Lobby I really prefer Michael's but there is not one close by =( ) anyways I got some painting supplies, after 4 1/2 years I am finally going to start painting again with acrylics =D

I'm starting out with just painting aceos first then move on to bigger paintings from there. First though lunch then I will start sketching some painting ideas. I can't wait to start, I've been dying to paint with acrylics for over a year now and finally beable to =D

Our Zoo

Today we had to take one of our youngest cat Diablo to the vets. We found out that she has mammary tumors so her and her sister Trouble will be getting fixed next week with our 4 1/2 month old puppies they are getting fixed as well.

After so many years all our babies are finally fixed =D It took awhile but we finally got there.

We live in a zoo 6 cats, 2 puppies and a turtle named Jaws. We did have 7 cats but unfortunately we had to put my oldest down in August of 2014 =( I miss Vlady so so much he was 17 1/2 years old a fixture of more than half my life. I swear I still hear him and still see him walking the halls. Just like our dog Cleo that died here at home in April of 2013 miss that mutt so much as well he was 11 - 13 years not sure his age since we rescued him from the pound but they guessed he was 1 - 2 yrs old.

Our 6 cats are Ziggy which is Vlady's son is 16, Smokey she is 12 (we rescued her from the streets when she was 4 weeks old), Jinx is 11 and our set of triplets Demon, Trouble and Diablo (we rescued from the streets as well at 6 weeks) are  6 1/2 years old.

Then their are the poopies.. I mean the puppies Munster and Hunter are pitbulls and 4 1/2 months old from the same litter. We got them when they were 4 weeks old due to their mother stopped feeding them, so we took over to make sure they would survive. 

And then last but not least Jaws the red ear slider is 14 years old 

Wow what a boring post I know this is no interest to anyone but still =D

Lets see... oh yeah tomorrow I am going to Hobby Lobby to finally get some art supplies. Finally going to paint again. I prefer Micheal's but unfortunately there is not one around here, the closest one you have to drive an hour away ='(

So tonight I am going to sketch out for some digital paintings and for a new webcomic (more about this and Little Bit Creepie webcomic later)

The Look

I finally got the look of what I want my site to look like. The home page is finally done which means, I only have a few pages to mock up so I can get my boyfriend to code my site and we can get it up with in a week. Really happy that it's almost done with. Its not exactly the way I want it but it will do till I have more things to add to the site.

Which now leads to I can create new paintings (digital) Which also leads to what to draw I want to draw so many things. I guess I will put them all in a hat and just pick =D

Chance of Rain Painting!

I finally finished my painting that I have been working on for the past couple of months. I actually drew him back in 2013 but now I just finally finished him. Not only that all my back logged images are done! That means now I can actually draw new work and show it off right away =D

I'm actually getting back on track after all the health issues I had since back October 2014 injured back (to the point I couldn't feel my legs) and then in December just 4 days before my birthday I sprained my ankle, or at least I think I did. It still hurts to this day, so it could be fractured or legitimates and tendons are damaged pretty badly This is the same ankle I hurt the summer going into my senior year 99/00 and had to have a cast for 3 weeks and an air cast for another 3 then physical therapy.

Anyways boring stuff so lets get to the good part shall we =D

This painting is called 'Chance of Rain' and it features a voodoo doll I created back in 2013 in a series of paintings called Stitch my Heart. I will post the other 3 after the new one.

Back To Painting!

I am taking a break from designing my website to paint. I can't believe it is taking me this long to create a site but I know in the long run it will be worth it =D

The painting I am working on (of course digital) is called Chance of Rain and it features a voodoo doll he is so cute he is also is featured in a couple more of paintings Left Behind, Withered to Soon and Butterhearts. I will show those pieces when I am done with this one. I should have this painting done sometime today so I will post it when I am done as well=D

Eventually I will get back into acrylics I miss creating with real paint. I gave all my paints, brushes and canvases away (since they were getting old) I have to now  restock it all. This will take a awhile and to re teach myself on how to do some stuff all over again. That's the glory of the internet you can't figure out something, you can always look it up =D

That's about the jest of what's going on my end, it is winter so staying in the house trying to keep warm and creating my little world. Perfect day in my book =D

Still at it

Still working on the site, I can't believe this is taking so long to do. But I know it will be worth it in the end.

Its almost 4:30 in the morning and still haven't slept. I don't sleep that much ever since I started this artist life back in late 2008. I just can't shut my brain down long enough to sleep more than a couple of hours a night, just too many paintings and story lines for comics just keep  popping in my head.

I am definitely not complaining one bit, I love this artist life! I just keep thinking that I created my own little world is kind of awesome =D

Well since it is so late I think I will go take a little bit of nap and start back on the website

Website in the Works

Oh my! I am writing again, I am trying to keep this going so we will see how well I will do. 

I haven't been around for the past couple of days do to the fact I am working on Creepie Cuties website/personal site. Its boring at times but also very exciting to work on a website that is actually based around your work. The hard part is trying to get everything on it and make it look good. After I finally created a Creepie Cuties logo that  I am actually in love with surprisingly the layout is coming along very easy. Who knew a logo can help bring out the creative in you.

For years and you can even check out Little Bit Creepie site I have such a hard time coming up with any layout or logo that I am in love with. It's mainly do to the fact this has my name on it so of course I want it to be perfect (even though in my world nothing is perfect just like it should be) but still.

I better get off and start working on the site more I just wanted to drop in and update to make sure I won't let this blog go. byebye!

Creepie Cuties Is Back!!!

Lets give this blog thing a shot and hopefully I will keep it going this time. I've had many blogs and never kept them and it even includes Creepie Cuties a long time ago.

I'm back now and ready to show the world the dark little cuties that come out of my mind. You will see digital paintings, acrylic paintings and comics that I create and other things that I can't mention just yet. For that you will have to keep coming back to see what I have up my striped sleeve.

A little bit about me I am the artist and creator of all this dark, creepy, spooky but yet cute art that you see here. I also do comics which is one of my projects that put Creepie Cuties on hold for awhile up till now.
